MAC // Sheer Tone Blush in Pinch Me

Hi Lovelies, so not long ago I decided I'd purchase my first MAC product. Living in Somerset means it's harder to get my hands on MAC, my nearest MAC counter is 40 minutes away on a train. My local Debenhams is useless for higher end brands. It was when I came across this new site Cosmetics 2 Order that I decided I would give in and actually order MAC online, as it was discounted and 100% genuine. If I didn't like it, I hadn't paid the full price. Eventually after deciding not to order the 4 items I had my eye on and just try one for now, I picked Pinch Me, a Sheer Tone Blush from MAC, for £9.99 & £1.99 postage. Usually £17.

Personally, I don't see the hype of the MAC packaging that many do. Yes, the packaging is classic, but it's still made of cheap, plain plastic like most drugstore products. However, this survived it's journey by Royal Mail, who I thought would have delivered it smashed into a million pieces. And it's survived a few drops by myself. It's also Back 2 MAC. Though being a blush, I'm sure this will last me forever. Especially as you get 6g of product, double of most MAC blushers. The amount of product was what attracted me to the Sheer Tone blushers.

The shade is a lot different to the photo on the website, however I did google this shade to find swatches, best bit about blogging if you ask me. I love coral or dusky/dirty rose blushes. Pinch Me is definitely a dirty rose with a hint of coral in there, perfect for my pale skin. I apply with my Sigma F15, which applies and blends this blush smoothly. I love that Sheer Tones (one of the lightest pigmentation's) give you a natural look and can be built up. This shade would personally suit most skin tones. I'll be ordering more MAC blushers soon.

Leave any recommendations for pale skin tones in the comments, MAC's got me hooked. Are you a fan of this blush?

  8. I love MAC blushes (they're seriously addictive!) though it's their mineralize blushes that really have me hooked. I'd seriously recommend Dainty. I'm also very pale but I could wear that shade every day and it would suit any look or outfit I had!

    1. Yeah, I never get the fuss of it, I think the blushes are better to buy than a foundation! Last longer, never get to see the topshop blushes in person, my store doesn't stock them!
