Batiste // Lace Review

As you all know Batiste is the brand of dry shampoo I've grown up using and haven't found anything that slightly rivals it yet. A short while ago they released yet another scent to add to the many variations they sell, Batiste - Lace.
Out of all the cans I can safely say this is my favourite for packaging, who doesn't love a bit of elegant lace. You still get 200ml as normal, which is the perfect size, I like to have different scents to pick from, I don't think I'd ever get through the same amount in the huge cans. As normal the spray can releases just the right amount and a few spritz on my hair and my hairs good to go. I'm still growing my hair out, I'm getting there and determined to never have someone elses hair or fake hair in my own, so I use Batiste to freshen up and give me volume.
The dry shampoo worked just as good as all the rest in the range, I don't have the darkest of hair, so I can cope with the white powder, however it's still worrying that you've rubbed it all in. It gave me plenty of volume, it's surprising how much volume the ordinary cans give and left my hair feeling incredibly fresh as if I'd just washed it that morning. I don't get any stickiness, that I've had with high end brands in the past and my hair smelt amazing. If you love parma violets then this is the scent for you. I personally think it smells exactly like them, though how the scent of parma violets will get any man into bed is beyond me. The scent stays in my hair all day long and I often find myself forgetting that it's my hair that smells delicious and not a perfume.
Overall it's another perfect dry shampoo from Batiste that I really do love the scent of....maybe more than the cherry! Have you tried this yet?

  2. Ah I use the tropical one, its annoying the whiteness though, having dark hair means it can look a tad dull after applying.

  13. I LOVE Batiste, I've tried countless cheapo versions from places like B&M or Poundland as well higher end such as Lee Stafford and none of them can match it. I'm not too concerned with the smell but I hate the 'tropical' one for some reason. The huge cans are perfect for me, I love them! You can get one where the powder is black for dark hair :-) xxx

    1. Yeah, me too and mark hill was awful, I've had higher end again where it's labelled too fancy to be called dry shampoo and it was awful. I love the coloured range, the darkest actually suits me and I'm auburny. x
