Lush Emotional Brilliance // Fantasy

Emotional Brilliance has been available worldwide for a few weeks now, one of the most popular items, through talking to other bloggers has got to be their liquid liner Fantasy. Fantasy reminds me of the gold glitter liner I used to wear through my school years, everyone wore the collection 2000 glam crystals. They still remain in my makeup collection for a use every so often. Fantasy's formula is slightly different to the other liners in Emotional Brilliance. Fantasy retails at £14.50 for 5g.
All you need to know:
As I said above Fantasy differs from the rest of the liners, along with Independent. These two liners have a no smudge, stay put formula. So when applying these liners they dry almost instantly and are set for the day. You won't have to worry in the monsoon weather. They contain a base of eyebright infusion, which is a herb that was used as an ancient tradition, you learn something new everyday. If you're wondering what base the other liners have, they use the same base as the eyeshadows, for softer looks and ability to blend.
The packaging:
The packaging is no different to the liquid lips, eyeshadows and mascara, other than the applicator is a thin brush. I wasn't a fan of the small wand in the mascara but I get on well with the short handle and brush inside Fantasy. For an amateur of liquid liner me and Fantasy have been getting on very well. The bottles and labels are basic as always & of course look very Alice in Wonderland. Remember to take your black caps back for Lush to recycle, though they do not count towards your free face mask, that would be crazy. If you didn't like the applicator, you can easily fit your ordinary liner brush in.
My opinion:
From my use with Fantasy I really do recommend these, though we're all different and would suggest visiting your local to see for yourself.  Obviously Fantasy isn't an every day colour for me as black is, but for those days I want to keep it basic this has come in handy for a quick line or evenings out. I'm not sure some of the brights in the collection are for me, though the pigmentation is brilliant, just like the liquid lips. It doesn't smudge, it stays on my eyes, something I find hard in liners, this dries instantly, though a bit of Bioderma on a separate brush can fix any mistakes.

What do you think of the Emotional Brilliance collection, are you a fan or do you think it's all Fantasy?

  3. I don't think I'd get enough use out of this to justify the price but I'm definitely interested in buying the black one x

    1. They do go a long way and it's more product than other liners on the market, obviously colour is personally preference! :D Black would certainly be a good investment.

    1. Well lets hope you get sorted soon, I'm sure I'll eventually have a giveaway up for a few items, they're worth the price, you get more product and it lasts on.
