Have A LUSH Mother's Day // Gift Guide 2012

Hi lovelies, with Mother's Day under a week away, I thought I'd pop up a gift guide/what I've purchased my own Mum. I've been using LUSH for the past 6 years or more. It's all I'll use, since I do have fairly sensitive Skin and switching I noticed such a difference! My Mum's also an addict, only the last few years has she become almost as bad as me though. I had no idea what to get her this year because I went crazy at Christmas. So I settled for the better gift set out of the two for Mother's Day. I like to spoil her, we're super close, I don't know what I'd do without her! The Happy Mother's Day tin retails at £28.95 and is amazing. It's all bath products, no soaps and no creams. We both prefer sets like this, however we do love the soaps and creams! We have loads after all.
The gift set contains; Tulip and Madame Butterfly reusable bubble bars (both Mother's Day items), Pop in the Bath bubble bar (she always loves mine), Butterball bath ballistic (she adores this), You’ve Been Mangoed bath melt (smells like avobath and extra moisturising, a favourite of hers), Amandopondo bubble bar (she loves this) and Think Pink bath ballistic (she loves and both of us haven't had this since the size change, I'll be repurchasing soon).

Yes, you pay a little bit more for the tin, but you'll have to buy something to put the LUSH in and you won't find a gift box as nice as this tin. I think people seem to think LUSH over charge on gift sets, sorry but nowhere will package your gift for free or if they did not as beautiful as this. The contents adds up to around £23/£24. So for £4 extra you get a tin she can actually use, rather than a gift bag that gets thrown away or put in a cupboard.

However if this gift set isn't in your budget or you want a few items to make up a gift, there are the two bubble bar wands featured in the above gift to buy separate or what about my little selections below?

Shay will be going mad over the  Honey I Washed The Kids ;)
Still stuck? Well LUSH have another gift set out for Mother's Day for a little less, £19.95 and comes wrapped in a choice of two colours, pink or orange. The contents are the same in each. I did consider this, but I thought the boys won't be buying LUSH unless they go with me, I don't even know if they've got her anything!? Men leave it so late without my help this year. Mamma Mia contains, Tiny Hands Hand Serum, Lemony Flutter cuticle butter (trial size), Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner (45g), Sultana of Soap, Washing Up Fairy reusable solid washing up liquid.

My Mum would love this set too, but prefer the one I've purchased her, I think she'd appreciate a dish washer rather than solid washing up liquid. Good idea though LUSH! She loves the Tiny Hands Hand Serum, if anyones wondering, I got it for her last year, she's on her second.

Out in time for Mother's Day is a new creation, Putty for your hands, hand cleanser £5.95. I asked the LUSH girl if I could have a sample of this to try out for me and then buy the full to review on here. As £6 is a lot to waste on something so different. She refused me with a bizarre excuse, which is actually a load of rubbish by the way, those who read the tweets last Wednesday! Won't be served by her again, sadly! If anyones used this, please let me know. She offered to sell me 100g, missing the point I asked for a sample as it's £6. My first LUSH nightmare!! Contains shea butter and marshmallow mucilage, which both ingredients are favourites in other products in the entire female side of the family! I'm dying to try this out and find if it has other uses. Then again, I even want the bubble bar wands! I don't think Chester will be able to go out and purchase me one not being of human race ;).

That concludes my Mother's Day with LUSH, post. I hope it helps some of you. I certainly love writing about my LUSH addiction. It seems to go down well. What have you purchased your Mum this year?

Disclaimer: Gift set purchased by myself for my Mum, all other items photographed are purchased by myself. PR shots - Putty and Mamma Mia are from LUSH <3.

    1. It's like the bubble bar wands, the wordings strange because once its gone its gone :P But you just swirl the wand to get use, more uses than breaking pieces off! Hope that helps! :D
