I LUSH you // Valentines 2012

Hi lovelies! It's coming up to that time of the year already that LUSH bring out their Valentines day. So grab your partner and start dropping hints to them. I'm actually the first blogger to receive the Press release, let alone products!? Exciting! You know me, as soon as Christmas passed I was looking forward to a new collection. This one is certainly special! It's about 4 weeks to Valentines day. But here it is and expect reviews up to Valentines day. Arriving home to a package from LUSH was heaven. I still dream of working there!

I have to start with the most special product of them all in this collection. I love how every item has a story with LUSH, this one has to be the sweetest. This perfume was created for a very special Wedding. It was created by Mark Constantine OBE, for his Son Simon's wedding! Luckiest Son and Daughter in law ever if you ask me! The original was made up of two components, the Bride & Groom. Then blended together to make the wedding perfume. Here's 25:43.

"The unusual name is a reference to the amount of time taken for Mark to create the original wedding perfume – 25 minutes and 43 seconds.  Funnily enough, 7 is often referred to as a lucky number and frequently used in love spells and if you add up the first set of numbers and then the second set, they both equal 7 … it’s a cosmic sign of romance!"

The perfume retails at £28 for a 30ml bottle or £13 for a 10ml atomiser. One spritz is enough, it really is a one of a kind fragrance. I'm a big fan of this one! I'll review this item on it's own, it deserves it.

The second product that has wowed me instantly from swatching. A Million Kisses, LUSH's lip tint for this collection! It's about time they created one for Valentines day. This product is scented with rose, but it's not overly strong, I can't smell it unless I smell the tin. It glides on smooth and will condition your lips great! Again, like the Christmas Snow Fairy lip tint, this can be used as a cream blusher. I love using the lip tints on my cheeks. Though beware with this one, use the smallest amount as you'll see from the swatches! The perfect colour for Valentines day. Remember to use your lip scrubs before A Million Kisses is applied and are received! This retails at  £4.95.

Another new product for this year, Love Potion massage bar. Now I'm a big fan of massage bars already. I haven't tried this one yet, I'll review it separately if anyone wants one. This retails at £5.95. As soon as I saw this item, I loved it. How cute is the design. It has got to be the cutest massage bar LUSH have created. This is fragranced with their popular 'Love' perfume. Infused with apple blossom, cinnamon, carnation, lemongrass and orange root, it's certainly a sensual and romantic scent ready for you to cast your spell on someone special. A carefully chosen scent and packed with cocoa butter and Shea, this will be sure to bring love into your life or back. I can't wait to use mine! 

The last of the four items I received, he arrived last Valentines ready to give every single lady her own Frog Prince. The Frog Prince retails at £2.75, but this year he is back with a little added extra is so many. On the extra day of a leap year a woman can propose to her man, or beau, how LUSH like to refer. So on this day, why not pop a little Frog Prince into a bath for your beau, where he'll reveal a little added extra, to help you with the all important question. Remember to give his red lips a kiss before you pop him into your bath. You won't miss out if yours doesn't contain the extra added message, you'll still have a sexy bath time, Frog Prince is infused with Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Rose & Sandalwood. I'm glad he's back, I purchased about 10 of these myself last year. 

The last few items, the famous Yummy Yummy Yummy, scented bubble bar, The Magic Mushroom. This retails at £2.45. For the singles, this one will be the fun-guy to have on Valentines day. You get 2-3 uses, for those who don't know this old timer, it's strawberry & vanilla scented!

Next up, I'm sure to buy and so will my LUSH Mum, Sweetheart soap, it's a gorgeous design and I'm sure it'll smell great, infused with Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and Vanilla. Yum. So why not show how much you care with a big slice of Sweetheart for an I LUSH you. £3 for 100g.

An item I won't buy, others will love it though, Chou Chou I love you, toothy tabs. £2.95 for a pack. I don't get on with them, but I know lots love them. Rose scented breath is not for me, for sure! I'll stick to rose scented lips.

That's all the products for Valentines day, though there are 3 gift sets and one knot wrap too, I'll maybe use them in later posts. For men there are two all year rounder gift sets to buy! I think the collection is one not to be missed! I really do believe in LUSH and I think this years is their best yet! Though I'm sad The Exfactor isn't back..I'll miss my voodoo dolls!
