FashionistA // Double Take Long Wear Lipstick

I haven't always been a big lipstick fan, I'm normally a gloss girl, but since starting my blog back in August, lipsticks have started taking their place in my makeup drawers & makeup bags. After taking a more 'daring' approach with the LUSH - A Million Kisses, last month when contacted by FashionistA I couldn't wait for them to drop of my door mat! This is one launch I was very excited for! Especially when I saw they had a coral.

The packaging of the product may not be for everyone, though for me, I personally love the red...just not for taking photo's of. The packaging stands out between all my other lip products. No searching all the way through for one of these to wear.

I used to think because I'm so pale I couldn't pull red & corals off. Fact is, I actually can, especially Red Carpet from FashionistA. It doesn't look as scary as it did when I first opened this lipstick, it would suit most skin tones and makes your teeth look extra white. 

As for the second lipstick from this range, Coral, it is the perfect shade of coral, it matches a top I've just purchased exactly. When it gets to SS, I go a bit coral mad, I can't wait to wear this one more often. 

For pigmentation, these lipsticks are a 9/10, I didn't have any bleeding with Coral, a slight bit of smudging from Red Carpet, easily fixed. They'll stick around long enough for any hot date and plenty of cocktails. With this they do however stain a fair bit on my lips, again especially Red Carpet, extra makeup wipes were needed, the wipes were covered both sides, completely! I adore the formula of these lipsticks, they glide on so well, have a smooth application. Plus they feel the most moisturising a lipstick has felt for me. Both dry to a slight matte, satin finish. 

I'll be looking out for more of the shades in this range! 

The lighting is making all lip swatches look so off colour, when it improves I'll tweet and add them to this post. I've lost count how many times I've tried over the last 2 days!
