A trip to the salon ended up a trip to the shops // Beauty Haul

Hey lovelies, I guess you could count this as another haul blog post, but I like sharing what I buy with you all! Especially as Elle magazine has the full sized Soap & Glory mascara free with this issue, that retails at around £10 normally. So after getting my eyebrows tinted and waxed, I went into Boots, where the foundation - true match, I'd been wanting to try since swatching was on buy one get one half price. Lastly on the way out, I spotted the No7 trial packs of the new skincare range for £5. So I picked one up and went back to the till. It has a £5 voucher inside too. It didn't cost me anything, since I used my points. I shouldn't be shopping, but now I've ordered a Carmine  beauty box as Glossy Box was a complete disappointment. A lot of you said it'd suit me more and I agree, I can't wait for next month. I finished with a cheeky Costa and Gregg's since it was ice cold.

If anyone is wondering, I picked up Rose Ivory in the true match foundation and Dry to Very Dry in the No7 skin care pack. I'll review all of the products pictured. Sorry for the bad lighting, it's 5pm and dark.
Have you tried any of the above?

  2. I picked up a copy of Elle and just got the mascara out to try but no matter how many times I dip the brush in and even swirl it around, it doesn't seem to be picking up much (if any product). I have a really bad feeling about this... :/

  15. Hi Lucy,

A friend of mine picked up the magazine for me (because I'm overseas) for another month. I love Soap & Glory hand cream and body butter but I've never tried their mascara or other products so I'd love to hear your thoughts on the mascara.
