Shea Mooti // Mama's Soothing Leg & Foot Cream

Evening lovelies, summer is getting a little closer and if you've been shopping like me you'll have so many shoes you can't wait to wear, however we all know it's the season our feet have to look their best. I've been testing out the Shea Mooti - Mama's Leg & Foot Cream.
Who are Shea Mooti?
Shea Mooti are a company who produce products with Mums and babies in mind. However they aren't just for the Mums anyone can use them, especially if you have sensitive skin like me. Before my Lush addiction, I'd regularly use Nivea, Johnsons or the Body Shops 'baby/child' ranges. Everyone has at some point. Shea Mooti pride themselves using pure, ethical sourced Shea Butter and hand picked natural ingredients throughout their skin care range. A company who definitely do not test on animals and is both made and packaged in the UK.
Sounds like a brilliant company?

The product itself.
Mama's soothing leg and foot cream is a thick luxurious white cream containing Aloe Vera, the perfect soothing anti-inflammatory. Feet are cooled providing instant relief. Of course the main ingredient is Shea Butter to soften those worn out feet and rehydrate those heels. Finally we have Niaouli oil, which is found in a lot of products I use myself as well as Shea Butter, this is uplifting, perfect at the end of the day and is a great antiseptic. The scent isn't overly strong, it does remind me of the Dream Cream - Lush, because it's quite a herbal, lavender scent, very clean and relaxing. The product has 3 months of life.
What do I think of the packaging?
I love the packaging and so has everyone who's seen this on my dressing table. The colours used are perfect for their main audience as well as the rest of us. Using pastel colours looks fresh, clean and fun. This is another product using a pump to dispense, the pump dispenses a fair amount of product and keeps everything hygienic. I tend to use two per foot.

Are there any other uses?
Though this cream is marketed as a leg and foot cream, I've also used it as a hand cream and all over body cream, for extra hydration, that doesn't leave you feeling greasy. And you clearly don't have to be a Mum.
What did it do for me?
I've used this mostly as a foot cream, I found amazing results after just one use, I always apply foot creams at night before I go to sleep. I've had a fair few to try already this year and I can honestly say this is the first one that's truly worked. I know with continuous use I am going to have the perfect feet for the summer weather. It really does cool your feet instantly and after my boots murdered me in Bristol the other week, this was my saviour when I got home. It soothed all aches away. I've tested this out on my Mum when giving her pedicures and she loves it too. Shea Mooti are winners in this house.

  4. Yay! Glad you got round to posting it (and thanks for mentioning me!) I love my little tube of Sanctuary foot cream, I also have Soap And Glory Heel Genius (which I dislike) though I don't use them enough really, though I probably should and review them, idk? so I can't warrant a purchase. If I was one of those people on my feet all day though, I think I'd re-think it. Just dislike Shea Mooti is quite pricey... Thankfully my feet aren't that bad, they're not dry/cracked or anything, a long time ago they were, then my ped egg and I had a heavy session... I used to use my feet a lot before I got ill though, so makes sense! Cus I'm not on my feet often.. compared to most people anyway, they're quite good, but sometimes it's a nice pamper, though I also really hate feet, including my own >.<

  6. I love the cute packaging, this is not a brand I am familiar with though. Anything that promises to add moisture to my poor feet is a winner :-)
