Christmas Day is just TWO weeks away guys. I actually hate how fast December is flying by, I love the run up to the day. The house always looks so much more cosier when decorated for the holidays. This year I've been pretty restrained when it came to buying new decorations, I've still got a few new pieces I've purchased to share however I've also been lucky enough to be introduced to The Orchard. The Orchard offer a fabulous collection of luxury homeware, accessories and gifts which all carry a unique, vintage or rustic style. Their Christmas Collection is wonderful, truly worth having a look with all their Christmas items offering free delivery & a Black Friday sale still running on their beautifully crafted furniture. Here I have my two favourite pieces for creating my own winter wonderful.

Pinecone and Twig Christmas Wreath
We've never been a family to have a wreath but there was something about the Pinecone and Twig number from The Orchard. It looks so magical in person, I currently have it displayed in my room and we're planning on having it as the centre piece of the dining table come Christmas Day. We'll place a LED candle for safety, whether it be a tea-light and equally beautiful holder OR a pillar style candle. The wreath is obviously not suited for outside - it'd definitely go missing if we were to hang one on our front door that's for sure too. I love the muted tones this wreath has, it's full of warmth and really makes for a great display. In-between the leaves it's full of twigs, pinecones and winter berries, adding a richness to the wreath. It's also not overly festive, making a great autumn-winter decoration, while the quality will last for years to come.

Pallet Wooden Christmas Tree Hanging Decoration
I'd spotted this item on Instagram, where as usual nobody would tag or mention where it was from.  Sorry. Not Sorry. I've been torn on whether to have it as the topper for the tree in my bedroom OR to use it as a room decoration. At the moment I'm standing it over with my wreath, the styles go so well together and it's one of the first & last things I see morning & night. I've never come across a decoration quite like this before. The tree has a two tone finish, with distressed paint along with Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas imprinted with a 'quirky' vintage font. It's such a unique piece and one that I'm debating on ordering extra of since it's only £2 with free delivery. They'd make a beautiful addition to the front of presents for family & friends.

  1. The wreath looks so perfect - been after one like that for ages but some can cost ridiculous amounts! Definitely checking this site out, your pictures look amazing here too as ever Lucy! x

    1. Thank you so much Lisa! It's crazy how much they can sell for on the highstreet and look nowhere near as nice as this one from The Orchard. x
