The Balm // Frat Boy Review

If you've read my last blush review, you will know how much I'm getting into wearing them, so I don't own 100, but without blush I feel as naked as I do without foundation. I received this blusher in my February Carmine box, at first I was gutted that I was getting the second box, due to them being over subscribed (well done Carmine, definitely deserved!) When the box arrived, I was over the moon with it, I paid £5 for the whole box (special deal), Frat Boy from The Balm retails at £16.34. Even a Carmine subscription at full price is worth it, as this blush is full size, 8.5g a lot more than Mac blushes.
The packaging is benefit mixed with soap and glory, does anyone else agree? Vintage mixed with cute slogans. Frat Boy features an old school 'football' player. The cutest blush I own. FB is finished with a smart magnetic close to protect your blush and mirror that's inside. I'm not always a fan of mirrors in products as they always get dirty and smeary. However this time, I approve!
Frat Boy is actually a blusher & eye shadow, though I personally wouldn't wear this as an eye shadow. I do however love the peachy-apricot shade of this blush, in fact it matches my shirt exactly today. The pigmentation is amazing! This blush applies like satin and dries matte. Being pale, this shade really does brighten up my face. This will soon be my every day blush when summer arrives.
Are you a fan of The Balm? I know I am, I love their adorable packaging and the great pigmentation this blush has. The perfect blush in my eyes.
Who else received this in their Carmine box?
