I was recently introduced to Orelia, a British brand creating aspirational and beautiful jewellery. Orelia are always updating their stock with new collections being added each and every week to their website. Their wonderful products are also now available in flagship Topshop stores across the UK & US . All of Orelia jewellery is in my opinion affordable, there are pieces to suit every budget with their most expensive pieces featuring Swarovski Crystals & Semi Precious Stones. If you're ultra sensitive to jewellery and accessories as I am (particularly earrings which is why I'm so pleased to have two pairs to share with you) you'll be equally pleased to hear Orelia products are hypoallergenic. Their beautiful pieces are also lead free and nickel safe with their gold, silver and rose gold plating all having an anti tarnish finish.

I was very kindly sent two pairs of earrings and a pack of their temporary tattoos. My favourite of the three products being the Luxe Mini Stone Stud Earrings which feature a mini clear stone while being plated in 18t Rose Gold. Their the perfect accessory for heading into AW and I've worn them almost every single day since receiving them. It's getting to the point where I should actually order a back up pair at just £18. They're just the right size, neither too large or too small & fiddly as I have two piercings on each ear lobe. The second pair of earrings I have are the Spear & Bead Hoops £12, I'm not the biggest lover of hoop earrings but I definitely have a soft spot for these, they're so delicate. Each gold plated hoop features a mini spear pendant and two beads, one on either side. If you're a lover of the minimalist trend I'd grab a pair before it's too late.

The tattoos I received were the insanely beautiful Aztec Starburst Strip Tattoo's, their latest design to hit the store & definitely the pack I'd have purchased myself. I adore the geometric designs, teamed with a rose gold finish and shimmering silver, they really stand out on the skin. Each pack comes with handy instructions printed onto the back sheet, but lets be honest we all know how to apply temporary tattoos. I've been surprised at just how well the tattoos actually stay on the skin, I imagined they'd be off in the shower but they lasted a good three days. At £8 a pack I'd definitely purchase more in the future.

Since receiving my surprise package from Orelia I've found myself scouring the site most days, I literally can't wait to place more orders. It's definitely a site to bookmark ready for the gift giving season that'll soon be upon us before we know it. Everything I received is so me, something I find incredibly hard when it comes to wanting jewellery and accessories that are well made but won't break the bank. I'm a little hooked on Orelia, are you? Had you heard of Orelia before? Lucy x

Who else has noticed the unintentional shoe theme for LW this week? Tuesday saw the ever so exciting launch of a very special collaboration between shoe brand Deichmann and Norwegian fashion blogger Hanneli Mustaparta. The exclusive online collection comprises of ten styles, varying from glitzy heels (a must have for the upcoming party season) to chunky over the knee boots meaning you can count on finding something you'll love with prices starting at just £14.99.

My favourites from the collection are the black Biker Ankle Boots RRP £24.99, perfect for both casual day to day wear while also easily able to dress up an outfit come evening. I've enjoyed pairing them with my many pairs of Topshop Leigh jeans and various blouses. Having the teeny tiny feet that I do can make shopping for heeled shoes a little harder. The height of any heeled shoe or boots automatically feels doubled, usually resulting in me reverting back to flats. With the black ankle boots being a friendly 2-3 inches, it's possible for me to wear them all day long, as well as them being a match made in haven for those of us with a narrow foot. The boots feature a double zip, one of which is for decoration purposes while the top of the boot sees a 'piping' detail, giving the boot the biker edge without being chunky and an unsightly. They're such a beautiful pair of boots to have in my collection which definitely feel more expensive than they really cost. I just know I'll be getting my wear from them this autumn winter - especially with their leather look uppers. I have so many suede or suede look ankle boots in my collection that I daren't wear while the down pours continue.

If you're still on the hunt for your Autumn footwear I'd recommend heading over to Deichmann, there's a style for everyone without breaking the bank. Lucy xx

There's nothing I love more than to hit the shops and start the search for a new pair of boots when we approach Autumn. Last weekend I was lucky enough to receive a package from the guys at Get The Label to kick start my autumn winter footwear. If you haven't heard of Get The Label, they're an online retailer (linked with JD Sports) and sell popular labelled brands at a discount. You'll find a whole host of brands for men, women and children, from Nike, Converse to Uggs and Timberland - all without breaking the bank and that's only the footwear.

Arriving in their branded box were a pair of Timberland Boots, great for teaming with a whole host of outfits this Autumn-Winter and something I now wonder how I've managed without some over the last few years. Those familiar with Timberland will know just how many styles of shoes & boots they have on offer. I decided on the Nellie Pull On Boots, a little more stylish than a regular Timberland Boots and perfect for the upcoming seasons. Here in the South West we seem to have missed the forecasted back to school heatwave so I've already started wearing these babies in with the freezing winds and torrential rain - just what you need when you come to taking blog photo's and realise it's far too dark, not to mention house training the new puppy. The Nellie Boots are made from premium waterproof leather as well as featuring a fleece lined collar for added comfort and warmth. They're definitely some of the heavier boots I've owned though nothing unbearable, the quality is superb, justifying the price of £124.99, though now on offer for £99.99. They also feature a solid chunky sole, belt buckle to each side, tonal stitching and leather loops at the top for easy pull on. Each boot is stamped with Timberland branding at the heel and buckle along with the fact that they are waterproof.

I'm impressed with the sizing, having never tried anything from the brand before I always assumed sizing would be a little on the big side and very wide due to having such small & narrow feet. Timberland start the sizing for the Nellie Pull On Boots at a 3.5 (the size I have), though none of the following sizes come in a half. The first try on was a little difficult due to the stiffness of the high quality leather and the boots having no zipper, now I have no issues getting them on and off. There's also the option to undo the leather buckles. I'm also pleasantly surprised to find the boots aren't at all too wide for my legs, finding boots to fit my narrow calves is always an issue of mine.

I absolutely love my new Timberland Nellie's from Get The Label as someone who feels the cold easily I know I'll get plenty of wear from them this Autumn-Winter, especially when it comes to dressing cosy on our little doggie adventures. Having never paid too much attention to the array of styles Timberland have, I was surprised to see FOUR different variations of the Nellie Boots available of GTL. If you prefer a shorter boot you'd be more suited to the Nellie Biker Boot, a much darker brown with fleece tipping while the Nellie Chukka Boot is even short with laces and chunkier sole. The last pair are extremely similar, being the same shape and shade of chestnut brown but feature no buckle or fleece tipping as mine do. Have you started shopping for your AW15 wardrobe? Lucy x

Harry & Mollie // Lucyy Writes

an image of Harry and Mollie the westies
It's been just over a month since little Mollie moved in and took over the house - including all of Harry's belongings. Harry seems to have gotten over the fact that we decided to get him a little sister and the pair seem to be BFF's. In true 'sibling style' there are times (mainly in the morning) when Mollie wakes hours before he usually would & he retreats to behind the sofa to avoid her jumping all over his face - it's also world war three if she decides to creep behind too. He's also learnt that Mollie can't and isn't allowed up the stairs, so the mischief runs up them and lays there calling to her at the bottom while she stamps her teeny tiny paws. Oh and this week Harry was finally reunited with our Grandma who had been in hospital since May - she also hadn't met Mollie yet. Seeing them definitely brightened the tough time she's going through. So just as I did with Harry I thought it'd be lovely to share what the pair get up to on LW, nothing brightens the office on Thursday afternoon than *adorable* puppies right? Giveaway // Linea Wild Fig & Vanilla with House of Fraser

an image of Linea Wild Fig & Vanilla House of Fraser Giveaway
I can't be the only one wondering where the majority of 2015 disappeared to with September creeping up on us. It's only 20 days until we can officially say it's Autumn, though if it's anything like it is here in the South West you'll have been digging out the boots already. I actually adore this time of year, waiting for the leaves to drop, wrapping up for the dog walks, the fair rolls into town. Evenings are full of snuggly blankets and lighting a candle or two...not to mention more excuses for a spot of home baking.

To kick start your Autumn we've a small giveaway on LW, the prize being the adorable Tin Candle from Linea in the fragrance Wild Fig and Vanilla. Linea  (stocked in House of Fraser) have created a wonderful alternative to your standard vanilla fragrances by combining the woody notes of a fruity fig with soft vanilla creating a warming yet elegant fragrance. Each tin candle burns for around 20 hours filling your house with the sophisticated take of a sweet scent this Autumn.

SO if you fancy winning yourself a little sweet treat then all you have to do is follow the steps of the RC form below and I'll announce the winner when the giveaway ends. Again, the giveaway is UK only & all entrants must be over the age of 18 or have parental permission. Failure to complete the mandatory steps will result in your entry being invalid. Any form of abuse (yep compers can get nasty) will also result in you being banned from all further LW giveaways. What do you love about Autumn? Lucy

Monthly Favourites August // 2015

an image of monthly favourites august 2015
How are we in September already!? It doesn't seem long ago that I was celebrating turning 21 and now we're planning our AW wardrobes and counting the weekends until Christmas. Yep. I've mentioned the C word, my inbox has been flooded with Christmas events and press releases since June. Summer was pretty much written off for our family with my Grandma being seriously ill and our household definitely taking the brunt of everything - my Mum deserves several breaks. Having not written a monthly favourites in so long I've a lot of miscellaneous products to share with you guys, a fair amount are food related, eating - the only thing we just about have enough time to do.

Batiste have recently launch their Stylist range, they've branched out from dry shampoo and have a whole host of products for us. Two products to have blown me away are the Heat & Shine Spray and the Frizz Tamer. I didn't expect much for an aerosol heat spray but it's pretty incredible, my hair looks SO shiny and smooth every time I straighten - with the Frizz Tamer making all the difference when you've hair with a mind of it's own. If you're yet to try out the new addition I'd suggest running out to the shops this weekend. I've been hooked on the Coconut range from The Body Shop this summer with the body butter being the product to have gotten me hooked. I was gifted a 100ml bottle of Vera Wang Princess for my birthday back in July. I always used to wear it, then stopped because I always associated bad memories with the scent, recently I've been loving it again. You either love or hate this fragrance but I always receive compliments when wearing it. Another product from The Body Shop that I've used every single day has been the Vitamin E Face Mist, I mist this once I've finished my base makeup and it all seems to stay put much longer. After loving the foundation from Joan Collins' line Timeless Beauty I was lucky enough to sample the matching concealer. It's honestly the best concealer I've ever used, JC knows her stuff. I've a round up post of my favourite concealers coming up shortly, obviously this one will be taking the spotlight for under eye concealing. Last week I wrote a short blog post about the new squeezable form of Burt's Bees original lip balm. It's a much more hygienic way to keep your lips hydrated, has a slight tingle but doesn't burn my lips like others would. Bath and Shower product wise I've loved the, The Comforter Bubble Bar from Lush, I've been having a rough time with my implant and always call on this bubble bar when I'm crippled up with stomach cramps. Another sweet treat has been the Almond Tart Shower Gel from Treacle Moon, it literally smells just like the food and the scent lasts all day long.

There's been a lot of food and drinks items to have won me over this month with my absolute favourite being the limited edition Innocent fruit and veg smoothie in Perfectly Pink. In the past I'd found Innocent smoothies to be really thick where as Perfectly Pink isn't, with a combination of Apple, Pear and Beetroot. Following the beetroot theme I've also loved having the We Squeeze The Purple One Apple & Beetroot juice which has just popped up in supermarkets nearby. I finally managed to find some time to do a spot of baking, I decided to make my famous Banana, Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate Chip Giant Cookie Cake. Unfortunately the oven broke a couple days later and we're facing the bank holiday without a main oven!? Who knew it was so hard to get a quality oven delivered. Gluten Free wise I've been fond of the Kallo Belgian Dark Chocolate Organic Rice Cake Thins, basically super thin rice cakes with a thick layer of chocolate over them. It's SO hard to find a decent amount of gluten free snacks/foods in my town. Stores get a product in once and never again.

It's been about a month since Mollie moved in and I've loved every single moment of it - even when she wakes at 5am, steals my shoes and attempts to eat my Macbook charger. Harry & Mollie have bonded so well, whether or not it's because they're related with Harry technically her Uncle OR that they're just the sweetest little dogs you could ask for. I feel so lucky to have two cuties to not only make me smile every day but also everyone they meet. In-between the puppy training I've found time to keep up with Devious Maids season three, thank you to those wonderful Americans who upload to youtube each week. The finale was a little disappointing, with so many questions left unanswered  -hopefully the series gets renewed. It's been a month of things breaking, with my beloved Iconemesis iPhone 6 case I previously wrote a post about breaking....it was late and I forgot I had my phone in my back pocket...it hit my hard flooring and the corner chipped off, thankfully the phone was in one piece. Having shared my love for the material/finish they use I hopped on over to the website and ordered another while they had a sale on, this time opting for a different design. In August I also teamed up with Cheerz for a review and giveaway, I loved being able to create custom products with my favourite snaps, you can find the blog post here. Debenhams were also kind enough to send me a beautiful bouquet, I opted for the Cornish Rose display which lasted for an impressive 10 days. I've also finally managed to make my own Media Kit for LW, I'm so pleased with how professional it's turned out. What have you been loving this month?
